Charles Lee seated inside the Last Drink

The Last Drink was a tavern located in MonmouthNew Jersey, during the French and Indian War and the American Revolutionary War. It was located a short distance to the north of the local fort.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

On 2 October 1782, the Templar Charles Lee had taken refuge inside the tavern after a struggle in Boston with the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton, in which both men had been severely wounded. After Connor tracked Lee down to Monmouth, he entered the tavern and wordlessly shared a drink with his enemy. After Lee nodded in acceptance of his fate, Connor stabbed him with the knife from his Hidden Blade and took the amulet that Lee wore, leaving the other man slouched over the table.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In Assassin's Creed: Forsaken, the place where Connor assassinated Lee was called the Conestoga Inn.
