The Language of Flowers was a Victorian era botanical text about the meaning of flowers. More than a mere dictionary on floriography, the text also often included notes on their origin,[1] etymology,[2] botany,[3] medical use,[4] as well as historical usage,[5] poetry,[6] and legends relating to the flowers.[7]
Assassin Shaun Hastings included excerpts of the document in the database entries related to the flowers collected by Evie Frye.[8]
