The Temple of Zeus in Kassiope

Kassiope is a fishing village on the northeast coast of Korfu, Greece. In antiquity, the village was home to a temple dedicated to the god Zeus.

In the late 420s, the village was visited Barnabas, the captain of the Adrestia and companion of the misthios Kassandra. Influenced by the Apple of Eden held in his possession, Barnabas left behind a path of death and destruction before holding out at the Temple of Zeus above the village. He was eventually found by Kassandra, who defeated and freed him of the Apple's control.[1]
