Kara Market was a marketplace located in Obama in Wakasa, Japan.

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and samurai Yasuke abruptly set himself in the market after hearing Samemaru had been spotted. Catching sight of the pirate, Yasuke also noticed Takeda Motoaki's men attacking Samemaru's men but then gave chase after Samemaru. Just outside the market, they dueled each other but Yasuke bested him. However, when Samemaru slipped Duarte de Melo's name, Yasuke questioned him about Duarte. However, when Samemaru remained loyal and even insulted Yasuke, Yasuke quickly killed him before going to join Fujibayashi Naoe on hunting down Motoaki.[1]
