John Pierpont Morgan (1837 – 1913) was an American financier, banker, and art collector who dominated corporate finance and industrial consolidation during his time. He was also a member of the Templar Order.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Morgan initially invested in Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe Tower, but after Thomas Edison, another Templar and Tesla's biggest competitor, contacted him and told him that Tesla wanted to give the people free electricity, Morgan agreed to cut off his funding for Tesla's experiments. Edison also told Morgan to discredit Tesla in front of other investors, in order to keep them away from him. Morgan then began a campaign against Tesla, and showed the faults with his invention of alternating current.[1]
