Ipuy

Ipuy was an Egyptian worker employed under Nito in Letopolis during the reign of Ptolemy XIII, and the brother of Baba and one other.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 48 BCE, Ipyu, alongside his fellow workers Baba and one other, were tasked by Nito to dig a well next to the Temple of Horus. Halfway through the digging, they discovered a tunnel and while travelling through, the tunnel collapsed, injuring Ipuy in the process. Baba, on the other hand, managed to escape through the other exit of the tunnel unscathed, where he discovered the remains of an old library underneath the temple complex.[1]
Fearing for Baba's and Ipuy's safety, their brother enlisted the help of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to travel into the tunnels to find them. Bayek was able to bring Ipuy to safety and eliminate some snakes before travelling deeper into the library, thus ensuring Baba's safety.[1]
