Indre Holm

Indre Holm was an island in southeastern Ásgarðr.
History[edit | edit source]
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Asgard, the Æsir lord had saw The Builder's work on the island after their deal for protection against the jötnar in exchange for Freyja's hand.[1] After some time, The Builder nearly completed his task and built a tower to secure Asgard from any attacks from Jötunheimr. Wanting Freyja, The Builder asked for her before completing his task but Havi, Týr, and Thor gave Loki in her form to The Builder. Yet, after a kiss, Loki revealed himself to The Builder, who demanded Freyja again. However, Freyja came reluctantly to see his work despite her anger. Without it going any further, Loki led Havi away to the south of the island while Thor and Týr kept eyes on The Builder.[2]
Upon their investigation, Loki and Havi discussed The Builder's arrival as Loki admitted him entry after he saved Fenrir from Jotunheim. They soon found the magical paint, which was guarded by jötnar warriors. Realizing The Builder's treachery, Havi went back to the tower and confronted The Builder. Voiding their deal, Havi stated he would complete the tower but The Builder admitted that it is connected to his hugr. Wanting The Builder for himself, Havi sent his lords away as he engaged The Builder in battle. The Builder transformed himself into his true form and trapped Havi into a force field under the tower. After engaging in a battle, Havi killed his enemy as the force field diminished.[2]
After the battle, Havi convened with his lords as he accused Loki for The Builder's attack. With all the lords agreeing, Loki reminded Havi of his oath before leaving. Realizing his realm was still unprotected, Havi intended to leave for Jotunheim for the special "hugr magic" The Builder mentioned.[2]
