Hvithus was a ruined fortress located west of Hofgard Altar in Vangrinn, Svartálfaheimr. In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's travels in Svartálfaheimr, the Æsir visited the location and retrieved a Book of Knowledge from within.[1]
