Hubert (died c.877) was an Anglo-Saxon resident of Wincestre, England in the late 9th century.

Around 877, Hubert and his wife, Leona, were arrested by Selwyn on frivolous charges. They were brought to the city square for their trial, with Selwyn giving a speech to an audience. Selwyn then condemned Hubert for defamation against Bishop Ealhferth and had the executioner cut his head off as Leona looked away from the gruesome scene. Before Leona could be executed as well, Eivor Varinsdottir assassinated Selwyn, causing a brawl to break out and allowing Leona to escape.[1]
