Hope Jensen's mansion was a sizeable homestead in New York City during the mid-18th century. Located in the northern part of the city, it was a luxurious two-floor estate that also included a warehouse and an enclosed garden.[1]

As both an Assassin and leader of New York's underworld, Hope knew she would inevitably be targeted by her enemies, so she installed several traps in her home to deter intruders.[2]

History[edit | edit source]

In late 1759, the British authorities organized a raid of the mansion, after being manipulated by the Templars into wiping out Hope's gang. During the attack, the Templar Shay Cormac infiltrated the residence and spied on Hope's meeting with fellow Assassin Liam O'Brien, where she recreated Benjamin Franklin's experiment with a Precursor box to determine the location of an Isu Temple.[3]

Following Liam's departure with the box, Shay tried to assassinate Hope, only to fall into one of her traps, as Hope released poisonous gases into the chamber in an attempt to eliminate the Templar. After escaping, Shay followed the Assassin to the mansion's gardens, where she struck him with a knife laced with poison. Shay subsequently chased Hope out of the estate and through New York's streets, eventually assassinating her and obtaining the antidote to the poison.[3]
