Hop Wo Society

The Hop Wo Society was a front for the Green Gang, a Chinese gang led by Du Yuesheng. Under the guise of a trade union, it operated out of the Great World in Shanghai, China in the early 20th century.

History

In April 1927, the Hop Wo Society sent some French concession officers to kill a Templar associate and intercept Darius Gift. However, their plans were thwarted when the Black Cross Albert Bolden investigated the matter. Upon realizing the Black Cross' presence, the organization set a trap for Bolden at one of their offices. The trap worked, though Bolden managed to retaliate and kill some gang members before being captured by Fiery Crow.
