The Hel's Damnation Helm was a helmet named after the Norse goddess Hel and inspired by the fiery realm of Múspellsheimr.
During the Viking expansion into England, the helm was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]

| This helmet could very well be the long last crown of Muspelheim. Maybe. | |||||||
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The helmet's description appears to reference the depiction of the Ragnarök cycle as interpreted in the 2017 Marvel film Thor: Ragnarok, in which Surtr's crown was needed to be reunited with the Eternal Flame to bring about Asgard's end. However. Surtr is not described in the myths as wearing such a headpiece, nor does he draw power from a single magical flame. Stranger still, the design is reminiscent of the horned helmet worn by the character Loki.
