Hebenou was an ancient city of Upper Egypt, called Theodosiopolis by the Greeks.

History[edit | edit source]

During the 1st century BCE, Hebenou was the home of the Medjay Emsaf, his wife Merti, and their son, Ebe, until Bion, a killer working for the Order of the Ancients, came and murdered Merti and Ebe in 70 BCE, while Emsaf was away.
