Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Harlequin, a weapon introduced in Assassin's Creed: Origins, is visually based on a dagger of princess Ita daughter of Amenemhat II from the Middle Kingdom period exhibited in the Egyptian Museum.[2] A similar weapon also appeared on the cover of 1997 French computer game Egypt 1156 B.C.. However, it's depicted as being sword size in game. The weapon model is not unique as the Harlequin shares it with the Gudbrand Blade and Amun's Blade from the same game and the Worship Sword and its variants from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
