The Frostruin was a flail with the striking head made of a solid piece of primordial ice.
During the Viking expansion into Anglo-Saxon England in the 9th century, the flail was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2020.[1]
