Eugene IV

Pope Eugene IV (Latin: Eugenius IV; 1383 – 23 February 1447), born Gabriele Condulmer, was the pope from 1431 to his death. He was noted for his strong piety and condemnation of slavery.

In 2012, the Assassin Shaun Hastings kept a portrait of Eugene at his work station while researching the Renaissance Papacy.
