Erica Nichols is a Templar and employee of Abstergo Industries working on a press-related function.

Biography[edit | edit source]

On 10 December 2010, Erica received an email from Harland Hammerstein, wherein he expressed concerns about a security breach within the Animus Project, stating that some blueprints were missing despite the project leads Warren Vidic's assurances, questioning the significance of "Project Siren" and its connection to Subject 17, and suspecting Warren or Lucy of involvement in the leak. Hammerstein mentioned not passing on this issue her assistant James Morse,[1] however she later would in favor of attending a party.[2] On 13 December, she had a press release done up and sent to Morse in the Washington Abstergo office for print and electronic release, after she was contacted by Alan Rikkin to contact all major newspapers in response to the Japanese recession.[3][4]

On 28 September 2012, Erica pushed for the British daily newspaper, The Guardian, to publish a story on a recently recovered Buddhist statue made of fallen meteorite to divert the public's attention away from Abstergo activities. Rikkin later emailed her to congratulate her. This email was later collected and compiled by the Initiates and posted to their secure private network.[5]
