Emerald O'Hanrahan

Emerald O'Hanrahan is an English actress and voice actress. She provided the voice for Lucy Thorne, one of the antagonists in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Born and raised in Cambridge, O'Hanrahan wanted to be an actor from a young age and participated in various school plays and amateur productions as a child. After studying for A Levels at the Long Road Sixth Form College, she undertook a Bachelor of Arts in Acting at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she won the Carleton Hobbs Radio Drama Award.[1]
O'Hanrahan graduated in 2009 and immediately found work with the BBC Radio Drama Company, taking part in more than 40 productions during the next five months. From there, she was cast as Emma Grundy on The Archers, a long-running British radio soap opera, after the character's previous actress moved on to other endeavors.[1]
Since then, O'Hanrahan has appeared in various stage productions such as Waste and The Secret Adversary, as well as television shows including Lewis, Doctors and Silk. She also voiced and provided the motion capture for Nina Taylor, a character appearing in the 2014 videogame Alien: Isolation.[2]
