Dysert

Dysert was a ringfort situated in the mountains, east of Errigal Summit, in western Ulster, Ireland.

In the 9th century, Dysert was a trading post specialized in trading scriptures that had been abandoned and taken over by Ulster's soldiers. Between 879 and 882, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir aided Azar by clearing the ringfort of the soldiers and obtaining the deed poll to the site, allowing the re-establishment of the trade post connecting to Dublin.[1]
