The Death Gorge is a narrow valley leading from Warrior's Rest to the ruined temple in Dikte Plateau in Pephka, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]

  • The site serves as a viewpoint in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
  • The gorge is also known as Zakros Gorge and remains a popular hiking route. It is also known as the 'Gorge of the Dead' and 'Ravine of the Dead' due to the caves in the area used for burial by the ancient Minoans.
