The Illustrious Scholar
Niccolò Machiavelli was a Florentine diplomat, philosopher, humanist and writer, and a member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins during the Renaissance.
A rather mysterious, secretive, and cautious man, Niccolò was nonetheless a decent swordsman in addition to being a wise scholar. Inducted into the Brotherhood and trained at a young age, he worked with his ally Ezio Auditore to lead the Italian Brotherhood in its fight against the Templars and their leaders, the corrupted Borgia family.
As a Florentine ambassador, Machiavelli was sent to the courts of France and Spain, which gave him the opportunity to lend a hand to those countries' local Brotherhoods.
