Intelligent and charismatic, the daughter of Kimura Kei followed her father into the Templar ranks seeking power and influence amongst her foreign masters.

She made her home on Awaji and courted the island's daimyō. After her lord and his servants were called away she assumed control of the island and began exploiting the populace for her own ends.

Rumors soon reached her of a visitor to the island and, using the unique talents of her taisho, she captured Fujibayashi Tsuyu, wife of Nagato and mother to Naoe. Yukari knew the Assassin had hidden a great treasure on Awaji, the Sword regalia, and kept her imprisoned for years as she sought to extract its location.

But Tsuyu resisted. After years of coercion, Yukari was no closer to the regalia—but she refused to let the Assassin die, convinced her path to Templar ascendance lay with information held by the aging shinobi.
