Database: Kalenderhane Mosque

Another Orthodox church converted into a mosque, this structure was constructed on the site of an old Roman bath in the sixth century. Together with Hagia Sofia and the Zeyrek Mosque, today the Kalenderhane Mosque is one of the best extant examples of Byzantine architecture.
