Judins was a Latvian soldier, hero of the RussianCivil War. He began his career as a rifleman and took part in World War I. Later, during the Russian Civil War, he was commanding a rifle brigade during the Kazan operation in 1918. He was killed during the battle, near Krasnaya Gorka rail station.
