Database: Caribbean 1670 - 1722

Located to the southeast of North America, the Caribbean (also known as the West Indies), is a region consisting of its sea, islands and surrounding coasts.

Next to countless little islands, the region contains three larger ones - Cuba, Hispaniola, and Jamaica, that were protected by the Assassins who were based in Tulum (they moved to Great Inagua later).

The region was the cradle of thousands of ships and shipping routes. Navies of several countries (Britain, Spain, France and Portugal) were patrolling its waters, protecting merchant vessels and battling each other.

The Caribbean was also the home of numerous bands of pirates, including characters such as Edward Kenway and Edward "Blackbeard" Thatch.
