Guards use birds to alert them to any nearby intruders.

Birds will raise suspicion on all nearby guards if you move through their awareness zone quickly (like running) or suddenly (like jumping or landing).

You can move past a bird without raising suspicion as long as you move slowly, by either walking or crawling.

Birds will raise the alarm if they are affected by the Noise Dart, Firecracker or Throwing Knife.
