The Dark Burst was a teppō that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke Yasuke sought other warriors trained by his teacher, Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, in order to learn more about combat. He located Asari Nobutane, a master marksman, at Negoro-ji and challenged him to a duel. Asari eventually lost, gifting Yasuke the firearm before they parted ways.[1]
