Dakar is the capital and largest city of Senegal.[1]

In the early 18th century, an old French diplomat in Dakar commissioned sailors to bring him tobacco. The Welsh pirate Edward Kenway learned of his request and fulfilled it by sending 30 crates of the plant to Dakar's French village.[2]
