The Contender's Blade was a commemorative sword given to all participants in the Battle of One Hundred Hands on the Greek island of Melos during the 5th century BCE.
The sword was obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she signed up for the Battle of One Hundred Hands during the Peloponnesian War.[1]

The Contender's Blade is a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey which shares the same model as the Ceremonial Sword and Duris' Sword, two other weapons in the same game.
