Chushojima Island was an island located in the northern part of Ogura Pond in Yamashiro, Japan. In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and samurai Yasuke arrived on the island, met with a master of the kanabō, and learned the second kata of Maeda Inokichi.[1]
