Chersonasos Military Camp

Chersonasos Military Camp was a military outpost in Octopus Bay in Messara, Greece. It was located in the northeastern part of the region.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]

  • The name of this camp is a reference to Chersónisos, a town and popular tourist spot on Krete.
