Carbon crystal

Carbon crystal were crystals, in Ancient Egypt, that resembled precious gems. Often found in jewelry boxes, these crystals were used as a material to better one's armor and weaponry.

History[edit | edit source]

In the 1st century BCE, carbon crystals were a rare commodity found and sold throughout Egypt. These crystals were stated to be found in military camps and were found in recluse areas, like tombs and caves. Bayek of Siwa used these crystals to enhance his weapons, such as his hidden blade and his equipment, like his tool pouch, quiver, and stabilizer glove, along with other materials. Bayek also used carbon crystals, with other resources, to increase his damage and armor, like his bracer and his breastplate, respectively. Bayek also frequented the Nomad's Bazaar, owned by Reda, who sold a total of twenty carbon crystals for 3,000 drachmae each.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Unlike other materials throughout Ancient Egypt, carbon crystals were a limited resource.
