Cannon-Barrel Pistols

The Cannon-Barrel Pistols were a set of firearms during the 18th century.
The pirate Edward Kenway bought the firearms in a general store in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy.[1] The pistols have the special ability to "trip" any enemy surviving the initial shot (i.e. Brutes and Captains), similar to how they have their defense broken twice by the player.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Cannon-Barrel Pistols are inspired by the Dutch flare/canister shot flintlock pistols crafted by L. de Meyer in 1730s[2] or 1760s.[3] The pistols in-game appear to have a stylized Assassin insignia on the handle.
