The Café du Quartier Latin was a café and Assassin social club in the Le Quartier Latin district of Paris, France.

History[edit | edit source]

At some point after receiving stewardship over the Café Théâtre in 1791, the French Assassin Arno Dorian renovated the café with 1,500 livres as a social club for the Parisian Brotherhood. After the renovation, the Assassin Council assigned Arno a mission to eliminate a group of Maximilien de Robespierre's allies who sought to overthrow the Legislative Assembly.[1] In 1794, he was taked with assassinating Jacques Roux's lieutenant to avoid a riot.[2] In the 1820s, the Council requested Arno assist Jean-François Champollion in recovering a stolen rubbing of the Rosetta Stone that contained sensitive information concerning the Assassins.[3]
