The Brute's Helm

The Brute's Helm was a style of helmet commonly worn by Greek brutes the 5th century BCE Greece. Adorned with horns attached to a human skull with leather thongs, the helmet was worthy of its name.

During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was a relatively common sight, despite its grisly looks, or perhaps because of them. Most notably, the helmet was worn by the mercenary Exekias the Legend, who was also the Sage of the Heroes of the Cult branch of the Cult of Kosmos.[1]
