Brasseur (died 1791) was a member of the French Brotherhood of Assassins active during the French Revolution.

Biography[edit | edit source]

The apprentice of Guillaume Beylier, Brasseur was tasked to find the Roi des Thunes in the Cour des Miracles.[1] However, Brasseur never returned or reported back to the Brotherhood,[2] having been discovered during his mission and murdered, with the Roi des Thunes taking possession of his pistol as a trophy and keeping the corpse in case it became useful later.[3]

When Arno Dorian was sent to find and kill the Roi des Thunes, the Templar used Brasseur's body to set a trap for the Assassin. Nonetheless, Arno managed to kill the Roi des Thunes, and reclaimed his fallen Brother's pistol in the process.[3] When he reported back to the Assassin Council, Arno presented the firearm to Beylier, who insisted Arno carry it as a way to honor Brasseur's memory.[4]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • "Brasseur" is the French word for brewer.
  • Brasseur may have been in the French Army, as the pistol the Roi des Thunes took from him was a double-barreled variant commonly used by French officers.
