I see. Well, that's the decision you need to make as a translator - do you keep closely to the original or do you adapt it for your new audience? Seems like the people who worked on the French localization of AC3 opted for the more "exotic" Achilles, while the people that worked on the French localization of Rogue chose to use the more French-sounding Achille. They ought to keep consistency in mind as well, especially in a series like this :P
