The effective restriction on CSS customization is definitely a concern I can pass along - but separating design from content in general is something that is a best practice for the web. It would still be really easy for admins to make desired tweaks via that CSS though.

The conversion tool is very much a starting point for creating the new versions - given how massively varied infobox code can be, it's difficult to create a 1:1 draft experience. I can look at fully converting one of those - which would you prefer?
