I found another piece of evidence that indicates that Watch_Dogs and Assassin’s Creed take place in the same world.

Or I guess it could be interpreted as one AC fan quizzing another.

Someone was able to find a pedestrian talking on the phone. She lists names of historical figures and a man on the other end replies “Assassin” or “Templar,” to indicate which order the historical figures were  members of.
