Firstly, I got a better look at the missing person poster and it is definitely not Desmond.

Secondly, I was playing Watch_Dogs and I noticed that the leaves on the trees were fall colors. Olivier also went missing in November.

Thirdly, I found a video of the Game Director of AC 4. He hints that AC and Watch_Dogs are in the same universe.
