Well apparently Syndicate is supposed to start a new arc in the modern day story (with Black Flag, Unity and Rogue being the bridge between the old arc that ended with AC3 and this new arc) so hopefully that means we will be getting a new protagonist. I can't imagine they'll stick with this first person perspective forever.
