IMO, Charlotte can be considered as a new character by the large majority of AC gamers, who are casually interested by the franchise, only us as "hardcore" fans know who she is. Ubi pushed her so strongly to a central role in the comics, as the next Assassin Neo after Desmond Miles, that I think she wil be the next modern protagonist of the franchise.

What definitely convinced me, is the fact that they released an entry and a figurine for her, the only comic character, in the Hachette collection.
