I don't see how Ubisoft can't reboot the franchise. There's plenty enough "Calculations" that underline the lore.

The current storyline might have been the most optimal in Minerva's eyes, but there's also other timelines that could be followed once this one is over. The only issue with that however is that it'd fracture what is "canon", just in the same way as the Defali & Corbeyran comic series has done. (Still can't believe it takes one whole year to translate a comic book from French to English, and yet the German copy is available for pruchase.)
