I actually always thought that it wasn't necessarily wrong to have OOU categories for IU articles, but I think it'd be preferable not to. My main issue with this has always been that there's always a chance that there's a character which really was historical, but quick research would fail to tell us this. I mean rumors abounded at the release of AC2 that Ezio Auditore was at least loosely based off of someone in obscure historical documents though I think this is false. As another example, a quick search online gives nothing on Didier Paton outside of Assassin's Creed, so he's likely fictional, but how do we know he actually wasn't a real person of the French Revolution who wasn't that well-known and so only through deep research would one find records about him, research that only Ubisoft has done?
