Oh, I would have been too polite to point out if your answer didn't satisfy me. I completely agree with what you said. :)
I think it's a terrific game, but I don't feel it beats Arkham City. There were a few things that bugged me about the game.
- No challenge maps. While Storm is probably elated, I loved the challenge maps, and the AR rooms don't really fill the void.
- The Batmobile felt a bit forced. I loved driving around in it, but I felt there were too many Batmobile platforming sections, and Batmobile boss fights.
- Some of the villains felt woefully underused. Two-Face and Deathstroke perhaps most of all. Deathstroke's battle was far too similar to the Arkham Knight's, as well.
There's probably more, but that's all that I can think of right now.
With all that's said and done, I do feel that Arkham Knight was a great experience. Some things were a bit iffy, but I loved how dark it was. A few of the flashbacks in particular were grim enough that my jaw hung open a little. Definitely worth the wait, I think.
