I think there's enough for it to stand on it's own. It's not quite a AC2, AC3 or Unity in terms of different, but I think it's around the same as Brotherhood or Revelations. I'm so happy the confessions are back though.

I'm also a fan of Vikings! When I watch historical shows like Vikings or Rome I always imagine which characters and events could fit into the AC lore.
