Considering Jeffrey is the lead writer for Syndicate I have high hopes that the modern day side of the story will be much more impressive since he basically wrote the story of Clay and has been heavily involved in all the present day stuff since the beginning. Plus he wrote all the glyphs and rifts, which are sort of modern day in a way. I don't mind all the focus on Abstergo but having a new protagonist that actually speaks and interacts and has a personality is definitely the necessity at the moment.
