Misphantom is right, the lead writer for Syndicate is Jeffrey Yohalem who was a scripwriter for AC2, and the lead writer for ACB, the Lost Archive and Dead Kings. Also, Syndicate has a narrative director which is Corey May, which I'm sure most people on here would know as the lead writer for AC1, AC2 and AC3 and the man who really brought the whole storyline of this series to life. With those two at the helm I can't see the story of Syndicate being subpar in any way. In fact I think it'll be one of the best in the series, the only problem I guess is whether they can salvage the present day story. My view on AC nowadays is that the modern day storyline has gone downhill since AC3 and desperately needs something to revive it, whereas the historical storyline, the one in the past, is as good as ever, because it isn't that dependent on the modern day story. That's what keeps me in the franchise.
