That setting provides a lot of new stuff. First of all it would be new and fresh because it wout be the first Oriental setting in a main game. Their would also be a range of new weapons that were not introduced such as the famous Katana & Shuriken but also stuff like the Kusarigama.

You see, because most of these games have a Western setting we get the similar themes and gameplay. Like horses and carriages aren't a knew thing we've had them in AC2 and ACR but the only knew thing is you can free roam with them, but say if it was in a different region as well like India we would be able to ride elephants which would be a totally knew experience.
