The Apprentices are a group of editors who serve the Bureau, a team who review, monitor, and improve all aspects of Featured and Good articles, including article nominations. The Bureau is considered Assassin's Wiki Staff Personnel.

The Apprentice system is an expansion of the Bureau's main reach with the editors of the Wiki. In order for the aspiring Staff members to better understand the job they will be taking, this project was made so that users can experience first-hand how the Staff operates around the Wiki, by working right beside them. An Apprentice allows him or herself to be molded into a more refined version of themselves by their corresponding Rafiq, who'll be deemed the Apprentice's Mentor. An Apprentice has a higher chance of joining the Bureau, and can better cement their place in the Staff than any other editor.

It is important to note that the Apprentice Program is not compulsory in order to enter the Bureau. If a user prefers to prove themselves without the assistance of a Mentor, that option is available. This does not forbid a editor from seeking advice from current Staff, however by choosing not to complete an Apprenticeship, it is possible that progress will be slower and more difficult. Nevertheless, if an editor believes they are capable of doing it without a Mentor, they should be referred to the Bureau Nomination page.

Roles of the Apprentice[edit source]

The following are duties of the Apprentices:

  1. Complete assigned projects from the Bureau Mentor.
  2. Maintain safety and peace throughout the Wiki in the best way they can.
  3. Uphold a respectable stature around the Wiki.
  4. Respect the other Staff members and fellow editors.
An Apprentice is obligated to fulfill the roles of a regular editor, while also fulfilling part of the Bureau's basic tasks. Being an Apprentice means that they are able to perform tasks of both a regular editor and an Rafiq on their own accord, while maintaining boundaries to some of the Staff's more exclusive tasks.
